✿2nd entry: CANVA&CALL✿

Assalamualaikum and hello everyone! welcome back to my blog! how is your mid sem break? mine was great! ehek! so today's entry is going to be simple yet informative. Have you ever heard about Canva? CALL? Behavioral Learning Approach? Communicative Learning Approach? yeah i know that's quite a massive questions to ask but hey i really want you guys to know about what are those because you might want to use them in future.

First, Canva. Madam Azida was very helpful by teaching us the steps on how to use Canva even though i already discovered Canva during my diploma but still i am very excited about this! You guys must be wondering about Canva right? so here we go!

WHAT IS CANVA?














yeah that's explain canva and i did that using canva! it is cute right 😁

Let's move on. Now, what is CALL?

C-omputer
A-ssisted
L-anguage
L-earning
yes, it is the acronym for Computer Assisted Language Learning. Besides, we also touched on types of CALL Programmes and let me tell you guys what are the types.

  • CALL-specific software(CD-ROMs, online)
  • Web-based learning materials (in websites, blogs, wikis and etc)
  • Generic software (word processors, spreadsheet and presentation)
  • Computer-mediated communication(CMC) programs (synchronous:online chat, asynchronous: email and discussion form) 

Next, there are 3 progression of CALL which are behaviouristic, communicative and integrated CALL.

Behaviourist call is the earliest Call program. It was design to provide instant feedback(negative or positive) to learners. it is a teaching method that been taught to learners repeatedly until they well comprehend and can easily respond to it.

Next, Communicative Call. Communicative call is learning process to get the real meaning by communicating. Learners are welcome to speak the language even they are not using the correct vocabularies, grammars and other elements of the language. This learning process will somehow enhance their skills in that particular language which it is a good thing!

Assalamulaikum guys! I am back again! Today i am going to share about "powtoon". Some of you might know about powtoon but some might not so you are on the right blog! ehee!                                    ────── ✧❁✧ ─────── Let's start! What is Powtoon? Powtoon is a world leading visual communication platform that enales anyone from newbie to professional to create professional looking, engaging video and presentation in 20 minutes or less!  My lecturer had instructed us to give a try on powtoon! ✿ 8th entry: Explanatory Video✿

Hello everyone! This week, we were given a task which is to create an explanatory video using powtoon. The duration of the video is about 2-3 minutes. This task is in a group of 3 to 4 students for each group. The topic for the video is our own choice and we have chose "time out from your mobile phone". Then, we need to write down our topic on google doc that was provided and our topic was approved by Madam Azidatun. After that, we had a great discussion whereby we have discussed about the theme and the explanations that need to be included in our video. They have chose me as a voice for the video. We have agreed to only have 1 voice as a narrator because during consultation Madam Azida had told and suggested us that  1 voice as a narrator that tells the whole story is nice.  Once we had done with the script, we went for a consultation with our lecturer and the script was approved. Now, we currently working to create the video and it is still on progress so stay tuned...
