As for me, i had discovered and listen to ais kacang podcast. Ais kacang
podcast with their tag line "delicious audio" is an entertaining
podcast hub with countless of new episodes each week! Now let me share
you a story that i have listen to at ais kacang podcast entitled "Nadia in
Wonderland"
So here is the story. The podcast is about "how you can go and
live abroad" Nadia is going to live abroad whereby she will be
migrating to Denmark. She shared her experience about travelling to America and
it was such an eye opening for her and that the America's trip had affected her
but in a good way. She talked about San Francisco, she wanted to live there.
Nadia also got her own home there and started looking for ways to live there
permanently. Here are some tips and ways on how to live abroad.
First, job. If you
could find a job and work abroad then it is good for you. it might sounds easy
and simple but it is not because you need a special skills to be hired.
She used to work at radio station and got a friend called Shah, a sound
engineer. Shah participated in a lottery. A job's lottery. Some certain
country they have this thing called "lottery" and there you put your
name and If you are lucky enough they will call you. Then, Shah
could not believe because the Australian Government call her and offered a job.
Shah now works and lives happily in Adelaide. Nadia added that in
America they look for a people that have a background in IT and Indian people
have a special skill in IT there.
Second option and way is marriage. Marry to someone who
lives there. Nadia shared her good news for she is going to get married with
someone lives in Denmark. She then added with a giggle that it is not her
seeking but she just lucky and it happened coincidentally. She met a man from
Denmark and they are going to get married soon and live there in Denmark but
there are certain problems that Nadia and her soon to be husband is going to
face. First, a clash of culture. Of course it is going to be a problem because
both of them are from different country and culture. Immigrating will make you
have a headache of living everything you know behind. She is a person who have
a school, work and her entire family and friends in this country. She do not
feel sad of leaving yet but for sure soon she will be sad like everyone will
send her off to airport and that is the most heartbreaking thing. Watching everybody
is crying. Nadia also shared about the cons of moving such as everything is
different in the 1st few months, cost a lot of money because a flight from
Malaysia to Denmark cost around 12K!!!, a lot of loss such as the memories
and friends. You can always come back but it will never be the same. She ended
the podcast by saying that if you think of relocate do call the embassy because
they are so much helpful!
That's it for this entry! I hope you guys enjoy the podcast that i
shared. till next time. See yaaa!😙
